Architecture Triennale Milan 2016 shows Urban Lightscapes/Social Nightscapes exhibition

This year’s Architecture Triennale Milan will showcase Configuring Light’s Urban Lightscapes/Social Nightscapes exihibition. It will document the Urban Lightscapes/Social Nightscapes project, an innovative week‐long workshop which brought international lighting designers, architects, planners and social scientists to a housing estate in London to explore the role social research can play in the design process. Photographs, documents and videos will show how participants explored how social research could be used in a realistic design process to improve the space and lives of the people who live on the Peabody’s Whitecross Estate in inner London.

The exhibition is free and will run from 2 April  – 12 September 2016 at BASE in Milan, Italy.
